I have a family member who works in IT who’s been threatening to get a record player and quality headphones for his desk, so vinyl isn’t even out of reach in the office if one is motivated.

Not digital, solid state (unless it’s class D I guess, but that’s a different discussion, modern class D is really good)... Solid state does a better job at accurately reproducing what comes out of the turn table. Tubes color the sound.

Yeah they generally frown on the basketball shorts and tanks tops that are my normal wfh attire.
